so i haven't been on in forever...but just to update ya'll
I made it into CCAD(columbus college of Art and design) and am waiting for their response to my portfolio and whether they are giving me scholarships or not...i hope they do....
not much else has been going on...i'm one of the accompanists for our school's musical, footloose....and that takes up most of my time..so i rarely have time to draw...
I'll have to just whip something up...

I've been working on my portfolio...and also procrastinating it....yes...my brother came over the other day and gave me a 15 minute art lesson(he use to help teach at CCAD..which i definitly didin't know about!) It was fun, he gave me a good idea for a still life drawing...so i'm going to do it and see how it turns out.
I've been taking lots of pictures, and once i get them off of my friends digital camera i will be putting them on here for your enjoyment.
The weather is not being nice, i need to finish my friends senior pictures and so it decided to snow...looks like we're going to have to do most of them inside...hmm gotta go find some good inside shots....and we can do some in the snow....that'd be a cool effect..if my mother would actually let me go out in the snow*rolls eyes*
Well happy thanksgiving to you all!! I'm off to my uncle's house....which might be fun...yeah right...

Chapp is giving me so many things to do for my portfolio.
Why didn't i take an art class this year? goo!!
so this is what i need to do:

1.)a human body study
2.)still life
3.)surreal/fantasy
4.)fill up a sketch book with random sketches
5.)fix my prelude painting(its the one with the crying flower and the vine/snake)
6.)add something to my abstract painting(the blue/green/white one)
7.)re-mat my ocean picture
8.)and do a drawing that shows off my talent...

hmm i think i know what i want to do for my surreal fantasty drawing...but i'm stuck everywhere else...
I'm a horrible sketcher...b/c i erase constantly...so i need to go out and buy pencils w/o erasers.....
ok i'm off to sketch..something...yeah...

Don't you hate it when you have those weeks when you can't stop drawing and then BAM the next thing you know, you are all out of ideas? Yeah that's how I am right now...and it's driving me mad. I'm going on a photography run sometime soon, but I won't be able to put up the pictures until i develop them....so it might take awhile. Any one have any requests on what you want me to draw? I can basically draw just about anything, so if you have a favorite cartoon or anything I'll try and draw it...and if i can't i'll die trying!!
oh and how on earth do you do all those little emotion thingies? I want to learn b/c there are so many out there that I love but i have no idea!! I only know the basic ones!!
